During the opening week, six-year-old Coolstein (Von Holstein (by Vagabond de la Pomme) x Winningmood van de Arenberg) showed great consistency, placing in all three of his classes. He finished third in the 1.05 m class before adding third and second places at 1.15 m.
Seven-year-old Chairman (Kiritan (by Kannan) x Chambertin) secured a top-ten finish in Friday’s 1.25 m class and followed up with second place on Saturday. Fellow seven-year-old Winning’s Kairo (Kiritan (by Kannan) x Winningmood van de Arenberg) also collected two placings, finishing fourth and sixth in the 1.15 m classes.
Kiara (Kiritan x Catoki) added two more placings with fourth and third places in the 1.05 m classes, while Quinn de Semilly (Diamant de Semily x Quidam de Revel) claimed an excellent clear and fast round, winning Friday’s 1.30 m class.
The second week saw several changes to the team of horses. Caivano (Cornet Obolensky x Contact Me) delivered a clear round in Friday’s 1.30 m class, while Ella Diva W Z (Eldorado van de Zeshoek (by Clinton) x Canadian River) completed the 1.25 m class and Quinn de Semily the 1.30 m class with just one unlucky pole down.
On Saturday, Cabernet (Corbin (by Comme Il Faut) x Cambridge) jumped clear in the 1.30 m class to finish fifth. The two weeks concluded with another clear round and placing for Ella Diva W Z, who finished seventh in Sunday’s 1.25 m class.
Two weeks in Ebreichsdorf provided valuable competition experience and a good opportunity to gradually build the horses’ form at the beginning of the outdoor season. We’re thrilled to see how the young horses continue to progress in the upcoming months.
